Donald Trump recently crossed a line that borders on illegal by suggesting that if Hillary Clinton is elected, the only way to stop her from appointing judges to the Supreme Court is by our use of our right to bear arms.
There is no way to lie his way out of this one.
He was not referring to our ability to stop an opponent with our vote, he was referring to assassination.
Every elected official in this country should be appalled that the Republican nominee has now suggested that taking up arms against an elected official with whom we disagree is a viable option.
How far will Donald Trump go?
It’s time for the Republican party to put an end to the speculation.
Numerous respected and experienced members of the party have already seen enough to make the call that he is unfit to hold the office of president.
It is time to strip Trump of the nomination.
And he has just provided legitimate grounds to do so.
