Emperor Donald is now asking crowds at his rallies to vote thumbs up or down on whether to deport millions of illegal immigrants. Is policy to be made by an applause meter or the angry shouts of mob rule?
When we participate in chants of “lock her up,” are we showing our disdain for due process and common civility?
I believe that millions of good people plan to vote for Trump for a variety of reasons. When supporters encourage his vulgar rhetoric and hate-mongering tactics, however, they are only ensuring that he will lose.
If you care for the man, ask him to clean up his act. Same goes for Hillary supporters. Don’t let her get down in the mud with The Donald.
That’s what he wants.
