Students at James Faulkner Elementary School in Stoddard will find their very own fresh beets, beans, squash, kale, cucumbers and other vegetables being served at school lunch. Last spring, teachers and students began planting seeds, transplanting seedlings and learning about the varied environments for growing such as the use of the school’s greenhouse. This summer, Marilyn Chamberlain, has carefully tended to the gardens, often with the help of her granddaughter. The school gardens are now are bursting with the delicious and nutritious produce.
