My name is Elinor Thorsell. Many of you have passed through my classroom at Memorial Middle School. I have lived in Laconia for more than 40 years and have gotten to know Tom Dawson through his son (a friend of my son) and his Stanley Steamer.
I was pleased to learn that Tom Dawson has decided bring to his extensive knowledge of community service as New Hampshire fire marshall to a new challenge as Laconia’s representative to the House of Representatives at the State House.
Tom is committed to listen to every piece of legislation, discussions and debates brought before the House of Representatives. He will weigh each idea or proposal with the people of Laconia in mind – all of us, not just one segment.
Tom will respond to issues with a wise and strong voice, keeping in mind our needs here at home in Laconia. Most importantly, he will listen to Laconia’s citizens regarding these issues.
I sincerely feel Tom Dawson has the ability to help us move forward as a community.
