Vote for Broshek, Karrick

It has been a great honor to serve two terms as a state representative for Merrimack District 1 (Andover, Danbury and Salisbury). I am thrilled to endorse Mary Anne Broshek, who is running as a write-in candidate in the Democratic primary for District 1, as well as my good buddy David Karrick, who is running for re-election in Merrimack District 25 (Andover, Danbury, Salisbury, Warner and Webster).

Both of them are what I like to call pothole-fixing Democrats.

They will both guard against the downshifting of costs to the towns and will fight to restore full education funding.

They will continue the work we did with the Coalition of Legislators Against Downshifting and will fight to get full flood control payments to our 18 flood-control towns in the state, including Salisbury and Webster.

They both will monitor the DOT’s scheduled highway and bridge repairs in our district.

Mary Anne’s 30 years with Health and Human Services and David’s position in Ways and Means will serve our constituents well. They will continue to try to find ways to increase our rural broadband infrastructure.

In short, both are committed to serve our towns in an efficient, reasoned, bipartisan way, and it is with great enthusiasm that I endorse Mary Anne Broshek and representative David Karrick.
