During last month’s Living History Festival in Hillsboro, an intrepid group of film makers shot a short film about renown Hillsboro composer, Amy Beach.

The Hillsboro Historical Society has a treasure trove of diaries, photos, music, articles and other artifacts from the years that Beach lived in Hillsboro on display at its museum, too.

The film was directed and edited by Robert Robertson of Dartmouth for the Alchemists’ Workshop’s community films project and included a dozen local actors including Mary Armstrong, Fred Sprague and Rachel Chadwick.
