Fabric artist Nancy Morgan is exhibiting her textured scenes of coastal life at the Seacoast Artist Association Gallery Shop in Exeter.
Morgan has lived her entire life on the Seacoast and that familiarity is lovingly captured in her familiar scenes of a downtown square, or the water’s edge, in any one of a number of small Seacoast towns so lovingly captured by her handiwork. Anyone who loves fabric, finds favor in texture, or who appreciates Seacoast scenes will undoubtedly enjoy this exhibit.
Her work appears in many private collections throughout the U.S., and she has won several awards in both the fabric and art worlds. This particular exhibit encompasses her natural familiarity and love for the scenic seacoast region where she grew up.
The exhibit will run through Dec. 31 at the SAA Gallery located at 130 Water St. in Exeter, and is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday noon from 4 p.m.
