I obsessively check Nate Silver’s presidential race prediction, sometimes twice a day or more. I’m especially impressed by his calculation of the “voter power index” graphic, showing at this writing that a New Hampshire vote is counts for more than any other state. This graphic shows the top 10 states in which voters have the most power to determine the outcome of the presidential election (New Hampshire and Nevada vie for the #1 position day by day).
Any New Hampshire voter who is as terrified of a Trump presidency as I am take note: Your vote for Hillary counts big time. Even if you can’t see voting for her, you can’t stay home or vote for a third party candidate. That will only serve to elect Trump. It’s essentially a suicide move if you believe, as I do, that a Trump presidency is likely to result in a severe depression, a period of ethnic cleansing, a nuclear holocaust, or some combination of the above.
Even if you think voting is a waste of time or have never voted, please realize your very existence may depend on you voting.
