Send Democrats to state Senate, House

New Hampshire is heading toward a crisis – the fleeing of our youth away from our state. There are many theories as to why this may be happening but two issues really rise as concerns above the rest. Our state universities are extremely costly and our minimum wage is low.

Both of these issues have been concerns for Democrats in our House of Representatives and among our state Senators. Unfortunately the Republicans have stood in the way of change and have silenced the voice and vote of citizens who are so concerned about our future.

That is why I am supporting Dave Doherty, Doug Hall and Dianne Schuett as Democratic candidates for the House and Nancy Fraher as a Democratic candidate for state Senate.

All of these candidates have worked to lower tuition costs for our state universities and have supported a thorough review of our minimum wage.

Just saying “cut taxes” is not enough. We need practical solutions. We do not need candidates who vote against money coming to our local communities, which will support our infrastructure and assist us in dealing with issues that affect our small towns. We do not need candidates who force us into raising the tuition of universities that already charge the highest fees in the country.

To the residents of Pembroke and Chichester: Vote for reasonable representatives who will see our true needs and vote responsibly in Concord.
