A Henniker man has been charged with criminal threatening after an August road rage incident in which he allegedly pointed a firearm at another driver.
Chris Bonollo, 51, of Henniker was arrested on Monday and released on $7,000 personal recognizance bail.
The incident took place in August, when state troopers received a report of a road rage incident that involved a driver pointing a firearm at another driver.
A trooper later located and stopped the vehicle on Interstate 89.
Bonollo, the driver, was identified and interviewed. At the time, he admitted to possessing a black Ruger .380 caliber pistol in his vehicle but denied displaying the weapon, police said.
After further investigation, Bonollo was arrested earlier this week. He is scheduled to appear in Concord’s district court on Dec. 2.
