Concord

Don DeAngelis, Concord fire chief, received the Fire Academy Award for being a valuable resource to the training and development of the state’s firefighters and to the staff of the New Hampshire Fire Academy.

Eric Uitts, a Concord firefighter, received the Fire Academy Award from the New Hampshire Fire Academy because of his passion for the safe operation of apparatus and helping firefighters develop skills as pump operators. He also developed an aerial training program.

Pat Niswander was recognized by New Hampshire Audubon with The President’s Award, given to those who have significantly furthered the organization’s work. She was recognized for her long-time commitment to the organization and to volunteer work.

Roberta E. C. Tenney was honored with a dedication of a new faculty housing complex at St. Paul’s School. She is a former history teacher, coach, college admissions adviser, dean of faculty and vice rector at the school.

Susan Fratini, manager of Respiratory Care at Concord Hospital, was named Respiratory Therapist of the Year by the Vermont/New Hampshire Society for Respiratory Care.
