Lorrie Carey is running for the New Hampshire House in District 26. I have known Lorrie for many years, and she is one of the most ethical, dedicated and knowledgeable people I have ever known.
In addition to her past experience as a member of the House, she is a small-business owner, has served as a Boscawen selectwoman, has served as a member of the Merrimack Valley School Board and has been a presence in so many community organizations that there is hardly an organization that hasn’t been enhanced by her involvement.
Although very passionate about issues important to her, she is always careful, thoughtful and investigative before voicing her opinions. Of all the issues that she supports, the ones that are most important to me personally are her work on the Commission to Study Sexual Abuse, her total commitment to education, her desire to improve the mental health care system in our state and to resolve the opioid crisis.
I urge those who do not yet know Lorrie to contact her and talk to her about what’s important to you. She also listens well.
