Sydney Wilson received second place in the FFA extemporaneous speaking career development event at the Eastern States Exposition. She is a student at NHTI.

Maeghan Connor was inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa, the national leadership honor society, at St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y. She is a junior.

Epsom

The late Richard Fowler, 87, earned the Congressional Gold Medal recently when it was presented to his daughter Katrina Fowler. While in high school, Richard Fowler was a CAP cadet in the Epsom Detached Flight during World War II. He was part of a group who dug a road into the site of a crashed B-24 bomber that had taken off from Grenier Field in Manchester. He was a farmer and a teacher.
