The Lake Sunapee Region Chamber of Commerce will host a Business Growth Series of seminars based on feedback from chamber members. Topics to be covered include finances and capital sources Tuesday, building your team on Nov. 29, essential skills on Dec. 6 and innovators, entrepreneurs, and masters on Dec. 12. All sessions will be held in Clements Hall, Ivey Science Center Building, Colby-Sawyer College. All programs will begin with networking at 8 a.m. followed by presentations from 8:30 to 11 a.m. The cost is $10 per session for chamber members, $20 per session for others. The Merrimack Valley School District will sponsor a free Childfind Clinic for the residents of Andover, Boscawen, Loudon, Penacook, Salisbury and Webster on Nov. 18 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Penacook Elementary School, 60 Village St. Children through the age of five will be screened for possible educational disabilities, including speech, hearing, vision, coordination, social adjustment and learning disability. Appointments are required and can be made by calling 753-4891 weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
