Jenny Lockhart and Jonathan Sterns were married May 7 at CenterPoint Church in Concord. The Rev. Jonathan Sterns, father of the groom, officiated the double-ring ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Gabi Lockhart of Boston, sister-in-law of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Meredith Long of Boston; Emily Grady of Rye; Kelly Jernstedt of Durham, N.C.; Katie Schmidt of Los Angeles; Adele Steward of Savannah, Ga.; Jaclyn Sterns of Franklin, Tenn., sister of the groom; and Colleen Maquire of Arlington, Va.
Michael Sterns of Franklin, Tenn., brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Wil Corder of Philadelphia; Robert Counts of Nashville, Tenn.; Jeff Donahue of Atlanta; John Hite of Nashville, Tenn.; Brian Lockhart of Boston, brother of the bride; Jonathan Schuenemeyer of DuPont, Wash.; and Joey Vadala of Nashville, Tenn.
The bride, daughter of Jeff and Nancy Lockhart of Concord, earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Georgetown University and is a nurse at Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego.
The groom, son of Jonathan and Kitty Sterns of Franklin, Tenn., earned a bachelor’s degree from Lee University and a medical degree from Georgetown University. He is a pediatric resident with the Naval Medical Corp in San Diego.
The couple took a honeymoon to Nova Scotia and resides in San Diego.
