These days, it seems that you only need to have a “D” after your last name to win an endorsement from the Concord Monitor.
Whatever happened to independent reporting? I understand that editorial boards are traditionally allowed to take a more partisan stance, but their list of qualities hardly embodies the independent and purple nature of New Hampshire.
The Monitor’s endorsement of Gov. Hassan (Sunday Monitor editorial, Oct. 23) screams “more of the same” (bloated Washington regulations) and “four more years” (for President Obama’s harmful foreign policy), and readers should take that into account when considering their options on Nov. 8.
