Members of the Hopkinton community came together Monday night to attend the school district’s “most powerful event,” the fifth-annual Shed a Light on Bullying event, which encourages people to reflect on how they care for each other, according to Hopkinton superintendent Steve Chamberlin. Participants walked from the Hopkinton Middle High School to Riverwalk Park in Contoocook while carrying candles before listening to students speak on the need to celebrate each others’ differences.
