What was the highlight of your season? The highlight of my season was taking home the championship plaque after the game. It was a surreal feeling and was something we have been waiting for, for so long. To bring home the championship and the first for John Stark in my senior year is a memory that I will never forget and it’s something I couldn’t have done with a better group of friends and coaches… my family.

Who was the unsung hero of your team? The unsung hero of my team is Meghan Blanchette. She battled an injury with her hip all season but never once gave up. She held our defense together all year and always pushed the underclassman to do their best. She is one of the most motivational and inspiring people I have ever met and I am also lucky enough to call her my best friend. She is going to do great things for the team next year and in the following years at the next level.

What was the biggest surprise of the season? Beating Hanover for the second time was definitely the biggest surprise of the season for me. Going into our first game against them the team was so pumped and we tried to rally together the underclassman to see what a big game it was for the start of our season. We won and some may say by fluke, but we beat them on their turf and we were able to pull away yet another W against them at our own field on our homecoming night. It really set the tone for the rest of the season to come. We had what it took to take the title.

Do you have any sports superstitions? If so, what are they? I have always tucked my jersey a certain way if we are up and tucked it a different way if we are down. I also line up next to the same two people when we get together before the game; Cady Loos and Cara Easter. Lastly, after every goal scored I always crouch down at half field before the referee blows the whistle to start play again.

What’s your favorite pre-game meal? My favorite pregame meal is a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Simple but nothing else beats it.

If someone was going to make a movie of your season, who would play your coach? Who would play you? If there were to be a movie of our season, my coach, Heather Doucette, would be played by Melissa McCarthy and I would be played by Sandra Bullock.. basically a remake of the movie The Heat.

If you could go to any sporting event, what would it be? If I could go to any sporting event I would go to a Patriots game because I have always loved watching football with my family and friends and it would be a lot of fun.

If you weren’t playing your sport in the fall, what would you be doing? I would join more clubs around my school to keep me involved.

What’s your favorite app? Spotify

What’s your most-played song right now? “Capsize” by FRENSHIP

Do you have any must-see television shows? The only TV show that I have watched from start to finish and still watch is Grey’s Anatomy.

If you could have dinner with any three people, who would it be? And what would you serve? It would be Sam Hunt, Tom Brady and Sydney Leroux. I would serve steak and some sides because that is my favorite.

If you got $1 million to start a company, what would you do? I would probably do something fitness or sports related. I would probably open a gym or something similar.

If you had to go on a talent show, what would you do? I really don’t know what I would do. I don’t think I have any weird special talents.
