Execute drug dealers

There it was, part of the evening news: Almost 1,000 people a week die from various drug overdoses in the U.S.

Recently we learn of the fact that we as a nation will be spending over $1 billion in the next two years on folks with drug addictions. This in an atmosphere where 1 in 9 people in New Hampshire do not know where their next meal is coming from.

For this citizen, โ€œdrug courtโ€ has a totally different meaning. For the average reader it will mean, โ€œHow to help those with addictions,โ€ but for me itโ€™s a totally different deal. This is dealing with the problem after the fact.

Drug court for me is the room in which drug dealers pause to get a fair hearing. Upon a guilty verdict they are taken out back and executed, gone. If you truly want the drug crisis to go away, we must start dealing with it in a totally different, clear manner.
