Andrew Pinard of Bradford will bring his show, Discovering Magic, to the Players’ Ring in Portsmouth next weekend.
Pinard’s ever-evolving show celebrates the unique and unusual way that humans experience the world around them and how little we truly perceive. Other themes that get explored include time, lies, science, coincidence, imagination and expectation. This show is for those who love to be surprised, marvel at our remarkable world and celebrate the weird and wonderful ways that we experience life.
Pinard has been a full-time magician for 25 years and helps operate the Hatbox Theatre in Concord.
Shows will be Wednesday at 7 p.m., Thursday at 3 and 7 p.m. and Dec. 30 at 3 and 8 p.m. The shows are for all ages, but matinees will be particularly geared toward children. Tickets are $15 with discounts for students, seniors, and Players’ Ring members.
