Concord CATCH comedy show funds housing

CATCH Neighborhood Housing will host the Capitol Steps for an evening of political musical satire on Friday. Held at the Capitol Center for the Arts, the evening will begin with a pre-show reception at 6:30 p.m. in the Governorโ€™s Hall. There, CATCH will present the 2017 Housing Hero award to Officer Thomas W. Yerkes, Jr. of the Concord Police Department, the Rising Star award to Rob Dapice of New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority, the Business of the Year award to North Branch Construction, the Volunteer of the Year award to Charles F. Gerhan, Jr., and the Helen M. Greene Visionary award to Todd Workman of PermaCityLife. The Capitol Stepsโ€™s performance will begin at 8 p.m. and all proceeds from the show will benefit CATCHโ€™s affordable housing programs. Admission to the pre-show reception is complimentary; tickets for the show range from $13 to $39.

Concord Conference on energy efficiency

A press conference will kick off N.H. Energy Week on Monday at the Legislative Office Building. The weekโ€™s events are geared toward education and awareness of the economic benefits and impacts of energy efficiency and renewable energy. Partners include The Nature Conservancy, the N.H. Clean Tech Council, Community Development Finance Authority, N.H. Businesses for Social Responsibility, Granite State Brewers Association, Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions and the New Hampshire Municipal Association.
