Area sugar shacks have been turning out maple syrup for weeks, but this year’s New Hampshire Maple Producers Association ceremonial tree-tapping took place yesterday at Maple Ridge Sugar House in Loudon. Gov. Chris Sununu and his 4-year-old son Leo did the honors. Maple Weekend takes place on March 25-26.
