I’d like to encourage all Webster residents to get out and vote Tuesday, March 14, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. for elected positions.
I am on the ballot for the one-year selectman position, and would appreciate your support toward re-election. I have worked this past year to lead the select board toward an overall budget that replaces a well used and deteriorating bridge, and at the same time creates no tax rate increases.
I also support the energy committee’s solar array project, which will save the town substantial money in years to come. I would like to continue to oversee these projects to successful completion.
The town of Webster’s annual town meeting is Saturday, March 18, starting at 10 a.m. Warrant articles will include the solar array project, the annual operating budget, and the Clothespin Bridge replacement. Please remember that the only way to have your voice heard is to show up and to vote for what you want. Otherwise, others will vote for what they want in your absence.
Last year’s town meeting was a good, positive meeting with voters supporting each other. Let’s look forward to the same this year. Thanks again.
