Proud to support Dunlap

Hopkinton is a beautiful mix of young families, working professionals and retirees – of “townies” and “transplants.” As a former selectwoman, I know how important it is for our elected officials and committee volunteers to reflect this diversity. I worked hard during my tenure to encourage more women and young residents to get involved. And now I am proud to support Sabrina Dunlap for select board.

While her family roots are strong in town, Sabrina represents a growing population of working professionals with young families moving back to New Hampshire to live, work and play.

Sabrina knows how important investing in our shared resources is – for all our residents. Our town library and recreation programs are a key component of our town’s commitment to early childhood education and adult learning. Our sports fields, conservation land and hiking trails connect us.

As selectwoman, Sabrina will work to balance the preservation of these shared resources and core services – like public safety and local infrastructure – with our ability to pay for them. She knows it is vital for the select board to work collaboratively and creatively with other committees, boards and residents to address these needs in a thoughtful way that will allow young families to move here and retirees to stay here.

Our town is better when we work together with the best interests of all our residents in mind. I hope you’ll join me to vote Sabrina Dunlap for Hopkinton Select Board on Tuesday, March 14.
