Belmont Elementary School students have designed and created a four-panel glass mosaic to hang in their school, but the details are secret. All students played a part in the Artist in Residence project, but the fourth grade class was responsible for its design and grouted the assembled panels on Tuesday. Mosaic artist-in-resident Lizz Van Saun of Hopkinton worked with the students. The grand unveiling of the finished work is Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at the school.
