A group of lucky pre-schoolers received copies of “Pete the Cat: I Love My White Shoes” during their day at Tiny Twisters, a child care center in Franklin, on Thursday. The books were provided by Granite United Way as a result of a “giving Tuesday” fundraiser following Thanksgiving last year. Nearly 700 books were purchased and are being distributed to children in New Hampshire and Vermont in coordination with other nonprofits.
