Just the finishing touches are left on the $4.3 million Bow public safety building, which is slated for completion by mid-June.

The project broke ground last August and has many features not present in either the fire or police department buildings, such as police holding cells and a bay that accommodates all fire and rescue vehicles.

The work left to do is minimal, Bow police Chief Margaret Lougee said – some ceiling panels here, some carpet there, and then the relocation of the police, fire and emergency management departments’ equipment.

“The police department is excited to have a place we can call home, centrally located, ADA compliant and shared with our Fire/EMD brothers and sisters,” Lougee said.
