Citing a “recent health issue,” Pittsfield select board Chairman Larry Konopka resigned from his post in a letter to the board Friday.
He had been re-elected in 2016 for a two-year term. The board is scheduled to formally accept his resignation Tuesday, and its members have not yet decided how to fill Konopka’s seat for the remainder of his term.
