The Manchester Monarchs took care of the Brampton Beast with a Game 6 win in their second-round playoff series Friday in Brampton, Ontario.
Manchester won, 5-4, and earned a spot in the Eastern Conference Finals of the Kelly Cup Playoffs. The Monarchs will face the South Carolina Stingrays in that series beginning Friday at 6:30 p.m.
Ashton Rome scored twice for Manchester on Friday, while Daniel Ciampini dished two assists. Kevin Morris, Zac Lynch and Matt Leitner provided one goal each and Sam Brittain made 29 saves.
