Camera flashes filled the room as New Hampshire Audubon biologist Chris Martin removed four screeching peregrine falcon chicks from a carrying case in front of a small crowd at Brady Sullivan Tower in Manchester on Friday. The chicks, which are only a few weeks old, received permanent identification bands with help from a few volunteers. The chicks have been named after New Hampshire waterways: Winnipesaukee, Suncook, Amoskeag and Pemigewasset.
