Twelve area girls’ lacrosse players landed First-Team All-State honors after standout regular-season efforts, the All-State Committee announced Friday, while a handful of others were selected for the Second Team.
In Division I, Concord High midfielders Delena Erickson and Becca Proulx landed on the Second Team after leading the Crimson Tide to an 8-8 record and a probable return to the state tournament.
In D-II, John Stark goalie Samantha Porter (First Team), midfielder Mackenzie Nase (Second Team), defenders Emily Patten and Autumn Nelson (Second Team) were all recognized with All-State honors. Stark will be the No. 3 seed in the upcoming tournament after finishing with an 11-4 record.
Area athletes filled up the D-III All-State rosters. For Laconia, Skyler Tautkus (attack), Teegan Stevens (attack), Becca Howe (midfield), Abby Crowell (midfield) and Lyndsey Paronto (goalie) earned First-Team nods. Hopkinton’s Amelia Bassett (attack), along with Taylor Darrell (midfield) and Julia Landcastle (defense) of Bow and Kearsarge’s Leslie Angus (midfield) were all First-Team selections.
Defenders Anna Carroll of Bishop Brady and Kaitlin Vanbennekum of Gilford rounded out the local First-Team honors.
