A new documentary about retired Concord High School principal Gene Connolly is back by popular demand.

Mr. Connolly Has ALS, by local filmmaker Dan Habib, will run for a second week at Red River Theatres in Concord after the first week of screenings sold out.

The movie’s second week in theaters will be June 2-8. The screenings will benefit the Connolly Tough Fund, which goes toward helping defray the Connolly family’s health care costs that are not covered by insurance.

The film premiered last week; opening night included Connolly’s first public speech in a year, and a panel discussion with his family members.

Information about tickets can be found at redrivertheatres.org.
