What was the highlight of your season? Playing a Wiffle Ball game with my team against the parents at the end of the season.
Who was the unsung hero of your team? Nicole Berube, who was probably one of the quietest on the team, but I have never seen someone try so hard to catch a ball. She really saved my team with some amazing catches in the outfield.
What was the biggest surprise of the season? Holding the defending state champs, White Mountains, to one run until the sixth inning.
If you could improve high school softball in New Hampshire, what would you do? Have it stop snowing in March so we can practice outside before our first game
Do you have any sports superstitions? If so, what are they? I found a Wiffle Ball my freshman year and I’ve kept ever since. Every game, I hang it on the fence and my teammates touch it for good luck.
What’s your favorite pre-game meal? Iced coffee from Dunkin’ Donuts
If someone was going to make a movie of your season, who would play your coach? Who would play you? My coach would be Meryl Streep, because they both are an inspiration to others and Jennifer Lawerence would play me.
What was the last gift you gave someone? I gave my sister a bunch of clothes for her birthday.
What is the funniest thing that has happened to you recently? My dad just got bit by a bee on his bald spot.
Describe the color yellow to someone who is blind. Its like the warmth of the sun.
A penguin walks into your school wearing a sombrero. What does he say and why is he there? It says “I come bearing gifts,” and he is there to offer the school a picture with the Stanley Cup and tacos.
If you could have dinner with any three people, who would it be? And what would you serve? Andrew Benintendi, Jimmy Garoppolo and Ariana Grande. I would serve pasta because it is easy to make.
If you got a $1 million to start a company, what would you do? I would start a company that makes softball bats.
If you had to go on a talent show, what would you do? Lip sync
What inspires you? Watching college athletes because someday I would love to play a sport in college.
