It was an enjoyable final day in Florida for the Capital Area Cyclones 10U All-Star softball team. The talented group of local girls won their first game of the day on Friday morning at the Babe Ruth Softball World Series, beating St. Charles Parish, 8-2, thanks to standout performances from Finnley Pratt (two RBI), and Maddy Wachter (two RBI).

In the Diamond Division championship contest, the Cyclones fell just short in a tough matchup with the WVAC All-Stars, losing 5-4. Overall, the Cyclones finished the tournament at 3-3 and ended their trip by receiving the 10U Team Sportsmanship Award, as well as having catcher Delaney Duford named to the All-Defensive Team.
