Get tickets now for our third annual Dinner on the Train and in the Depot. The event will be held Saturday, at the Contoocook Depot and Coach, 896 Main St. Here’s what to expect this year: Servings at 5:30 and 7 p.m. with continuous seatings every 15 minutes. Times may vary based on ticket purchases. Have a seat on our stationary Pullman Coach or inside the Depot for a delicious catered dinner. Two dinner entree choices! Meals will be catered by the Everyday Cafe. A limited number of tickets are being sold. Tickets are now available for purchase online. The cost is $25 per person, children under 12 are only $12.50 Proceeds from the event go towards restoring the Pullman Coach. Without your help, the historic 1905 car could disappear. Thanks to a grant from the New Hampshire Humanities Council, Belmont Public Library will host Jo Radner, a published author, educator and oral historian, who will present a workshop to teach participants how to capture and preserve family stories. Radner will be at the Senior Center at Belmont Mill today at 10 a.m.
