Warner now has a liquor store.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Tuesday for a 10,500-square-foot New Hampshire Liquor & Wine Outlet, the first in Warner.
The store is in a shopping center on Route 103, just off Exit 9 off Interstate 89, next to a New Hampshire Park and Ride lot.
The location also has a Market Basket grocery store. Market Basket CEO Arthur Demoulas was among those who spoke at Tuesday’s ceremony.
It is the first liquor store along that stretch of interstate between Concord and New London.
The state liquor commission estimated that it will generate $5.5 million in annual sales.
The store features iPad kiosks for browsing inventory and a temperature/humidity-controlled wine vault for high-end wines.
Over the past five years, the state liquor commission has relocated or renovated 27 New Hampshire Liquor & Wine Outlets, including those in Concord and Pembroke. It is developing new stores in Rochester and in the Dover-Somersworth area.
