Spaulding Youth Center is thrilled to announce it has received a generous donation of stuffed animals from a Franklin Savings Bank employee. Together with her teenage daughter, the two donated three large bags of brand new or lightly-used lovable toys to the students of Spaulding Youth Center.
Following a recent campus tour and meeting with Todd Emmons, Spaulding Youth Center Chief Financial Officer, the Franklin Savings Bank employee learned a great deal about the challenges many of the Spaulding Youth Center students have had to overcome. Some children came to Spaulding without any toys or personal possessions, and the Franklin Savings Bank employee felt a donation of stuffed animals would be a great way to bring a bit of happiness to those who might need it most. She and her daughter gathered new and unused stuffed animals to bring to Spaulding Youth Center.
When the generous donation was delivered to campus, the Spaulding Youth Center staff divided the stuffed animals amongst student residents based on their interests and placed them in each child’s chair to discover after school. The kids were very excited to have a soft, fun stuffed friend to call their own.
