Employers and job seekers filled the corridors of Steeplegate Mall in Concord on Thursday for the Concord Job & Resource Fair. The event, hosted by New Hampshire Employment Security, featured more than 100 hiring establishments across a variety of industries. Among them was the New Hampshire Department of Corrections, which has openings for corrections officers as well as teachers, registered nurses, counselors and other positions. Due to staffing shortages, the opening of the new womenโ€™s prison has been delayed several months.
