A crew of about 16 Home Depot employees volunteered their time at the Richard Brown House in Loudon on Thursday to build a gazebo for the property’s residents. The screened-in structure was paid for with grants from the Home Depot Foundation’s Celebration of Service campaign, which aims to give back to U.S. military veterans and their families. Residents of the senior housing program, operated by Volunteers of America, include a number of veterans. In thanks, residents provided a potluck lunch for the workers.
