Old Ways Traditions will host Old Ways Days in celebration of its 10-year anniversary. Festivities will be Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 418 Shaker Road, Canterbury.

On Sunday at 9 a.m., NHTI will once again host the Granite 10 Road Race.
Starting and ending at NHTIโs Grappone Hall, the Granite 10 is a USATF certified 10-mile road race that is part of both the N.H. Grand Prix Race Series and the Five and Dime Challenge.
The race is open to the public, and the entry fee is $30. The event features an unbeatable food spread, and prizes (money, pies, syrup) for the top male, female, masters, and age category winners.
Proceeds benefit the Concord Boys & Girls Club, with a small portion going to the NHTI Cross Country Team for use of the college facilities. Co-sponsored by the McAuliffe Shepard Discovery Center.

The Bow Garden Club is now conducting their eighth annual โHoliday Poinsettia Saleโ fundraiser, offering large red, white or pink poinsettia plants for sale, complete with foil pot covers for gift giving or display purposes. Grown locally by D.S. Cole Growers in Loudon, these beautiful plants may be preordered through Nov. 10 and will be available for pickup at the Old Town Hall, 91 Bow Center Road, on Dec. 2 from 9 a.m. to noon, unless other arrangements are made with the seller.
Eight-inch pots containing three poinsettia plants are $23 and 10-inch pots holding four plants are $33.

Catamount Womenaid will present a 5K on Nov. 5. The Deerfield Veterinary Clinic Catamount 5K will be held at the Deerfield Fairgrounds. This nonprofit began in 2011 with just five women and no money; nevertheless, they have been able to help many families in Deerfield, Northwood, Epsom, Pittsfield and Strafford.
