I’m Rod Forey, a South End neighbor and candidate for the Ward 7 city council position.
Our ward and the city are facing many challenges, including rehabbing/rebuilding/relocating the middle school, attracting business and industry to increase our tax base, and maintaining our utility and transportation infrastructure in line with our residential and commercial needs.
While I am impressed with our new and revitalized Main Street, I believe more must be done to address Concord’s long-term financial needs.
My interests and executive career experience in management can provide a new and thoughtful approach to the issues facing council consideration.
I am a veteran and an independent; I have no connection with special interest groups or cliques. I believe the city would benefit from a change with a fresh set of eyes and a new voice on the council.
