On Nov. 7, election day, far too many Concord residents will be voting with their feet by not showing up at the polls. The current trajectory of a majority of councilors on tax-and-spend issues is putting our seniors at risk of no longer being able to afford to live here. Between tax increment finance districts, RSA 79 E tax breaks and sweetheart parking deals, we are in a bad way with no end in sight.
The only way to alter the trajectory is to alter the make-up of the council, and the way to do it is vote against incumbents.
If an incumbent has a challenger, vote for the challenger. If an incumbent has no challenger, write someoneโs name in.
