Lauren Percy, who is Miss New Hampshire 2017, was awarded the Dr. Marcia L. Leek Scholarship by the Miss America Foundation. She is a graduate student at Columbia University’s Teachers College studying higher and postsecondary education.

Lori Fisher, library director for the Baker Free Library in Bow, received the New Hampshire Library Trustee Association’s “Library Director of the Year” award.

Concord

Anusha Murali was named a finalist in the 2017 Siemens Competition in Math, Science and Technology. She also recently earned a perfect 36 score on the ACT test; only 0.1 percent of students achieve that score. Anusha is a junior at Bishop Brady High School.

Brooke Mills was named Miss Merrimack 2018 and will compete for the Miss New Hampshire title in the spring. She is a sophomore at NHTI studying health science.
