In his Jan. 17 column “Wars and Metaphors,” Jean Stimmell clearly and eloquently exposes the core of our nation’s deep malaise. I agree with the points he has so poignantly made. Let’s create some new dance moves and develop a different metaphor from “argument is war” to one of open-mindedness, acceptance and inclusion. The result could be a fluid, peaceful dance that we would all benefit from.
