The Concord High School Class of 1967 celebrated its 50th reunion in September, and noting the lack of a commemorative plaque for veterans of Vietnam we decided to create one. Emails crisscrossed the country as we agreed on the design and wording of the plaque. The plaque honors all who served. A Monitor article on the Jan. 30 Hometown page neglected to note that the names listed on the plaque are of those who died there, five of whom were our classmates. Thanks to Linda Abbott and Anne Hartshorn for their diligence in making this happen.
