Can it get any worse? The old axiom is that “it takes two to tango” and the discourse in Washington is proof of this axiom. However, the Democrats’ behavior at the State of the Union address took discourse to its most disgusting level yet. The last straw for me was when they did not even stand, excluding Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia and a couple of others, and applaud the special people in the audience whom President Trump introduced.
Some Democrats even appeared to be whispering snide side comments during this time.
History and psychology show us that no man is all good or all bad, and certainly the lives of even our most illustrious leaders attest to this.
As much as I do not like Donald Trump or many of his personal actions, he has certainly done some good for our country over this past year. I will no longer even consider supporting a Democratic candidate after watching their behavior on Tuesday night. Who do they think they represent and who are they setting examples for? Over the past year they have made themselves totally useless.
They acted like small, spoiled children who, because they cannot get their way, throw fits of anger until they hopefully do. They had better grow up soon or they may find themselves totally out in the cold for a long time to come.
