Comic book fans converged on Everett Arena on Saturday for the Old School Comic Show, an event put on by Massachusetts-based online seller Little Giant Comics.

The all-day show centered its focus on comic books, the artists behind the works and vintage toys. It did not include panels, costume contest or scheduled photo ops like many larger conventions.

Some of the 85 dealers and artists included Little Giant Comics, California-based Terryโ€™s Comics, Dave & Adams, Al Milgrom, Alex Cormack and local mosaic artist Matthew DiMasi.

โ€œWhatโ€™s coming to this area has never before been put together,โ€ said Jason Brodnick, 48, owner of Little Giant Comics. He hopes to make the Old School Comic Show a recurring event.
