Rundlett Middle School celebrated the district’s diversity Wednesday afternoon with its annual “Around the World Fair.”

Despite the state’s general homogeneity, students in Concord hail from countries spanning several continents: Congo, Bhutan, Rwanda, Nepal, Tanzania, Argentina, Egypt, said teacher Annie Mills.

“I could keep going. We seriously have kids from all over,” she said.

The event was put together almost entirely by students, Mills said. Student ambassadors, world language classes and English language learners all collaborated.

The fair featured home-made food, dancing, drumming, and activity booths. It was free and open to the public.
