As a result of a Concord Chamber of Commerce education grant, on May 15, Bow High School teacher Michelle Hlavas brought students from her child development class to the Concord Boys and Girls Club and Manchester Head Start. Students shared an activity, read to the children, and then gave them each a book to take home.
The high school students were responsible for selecting the books they gave to the kids. They gave away more than 120 books that were all purchased at Gibson’s Book Store.
