The summer entertainment schedule had long been set for the MainStreet Warner Stage, but fundraising to keep the concert series free and maintain Jim Mitchell Community Park is ongoing. On Saturday, the community non-profit MainStreet Warner Inc., hosted the annual Summer Kickoff Block Party. Raffles and a silent auction took place at the park and MainStreet BookEnds next door. Donations were appreciated but entertainment โ€“ including games, storytelling, and plenty of live music โ€“ was free throughout the day. โ€œPark Patronโ€ tickets were available and included an evening of food and drink, complementary raffle tickets, a chance to mingle with musicians and final access to silent auction items.
